Who we are

This policy explains how WebNextify ("we", "us") handles personal information when you visit webnextify.com, contact us, create an account or use our free tools. WebNextify provides web development, search engine optimization (SEO), local SEO, AI chatbot development, custom software development and a guest posting marketplace.

Information we collect

Information you give us

• Project enquiries. When you use the contact form we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), the service you're interested in, your message and, for guest post requests, the publisher website you asked about.
• Accounts. When you create a marketplace account we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number with country code, and optionally your company name and website. Your password is handled by our authentication provider and stored in hashed form; we never see it.
• Direct messages. If you email us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive whatever you choose to send, along with your email address or phone number.

Information collected automatically

• Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive, the type of device and browser, approximate location (city or country, derived from your IP address) and interactions such as clicks and scrolling.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical data for every request, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, which is used for security and troubleshooting.

Our free SEO Report Generator

When you run a report, the web address you enter is sent to Google's PageSpeed Insights service, which loads that page and returns the results to your browser. We don't ask for your name or email to use the tool, and we don't store the reports you run.

How we use your information

• To reply to enquiries, prepare proposals and deliver the services you hire us for.
• To run your marketplace account, including showing you full publisher listings and handling placement requests.
• To understand which pages and content are useful so we can improve the site.
• To keep the site secure and to detect spam or abuse.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them, and similar browser storage, for the following purposes:

• Analytics cookies set by Google Analytics (named _ga and _ga_HBD836TRPR), which distinguish visits and can last up to two years.
• Sign-in storage. If you log in to the marketplace, your session is kept in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in.
• Advertising cookies, if and when we display ads (see the next section).

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking analytics cookies won't stop the site working. You can also opt out of Google Analytics on every site with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising

We may show advertising on parts of this website to support our free content and tools. The ad partners we are authorized to work with are listed in our public ads.txt file. These partners, and the advertisers they work with, may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses and similar identifiers to show ads, limit how often you see them and measure their performance, which can include ads based on your visits to this and other websites.

You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings, the Digital Advertising Alliance at optout.aboutads.info, the Network Advertising Initiative at optout.networkadvertising.org, or, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu. You'll still see ads after opting out, but they won't be based on your browsing.

Services we rely on

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the website. Each one processes data only to provide its service:

• Google Analytics for site usage statistics.
• Google Fonts and cdnjs (Cloudflare), which deliver the fonts and icons used on the site. Your browser connects to them directly, so they receive your IP address.
• Google PageSpeed Insights, which powers the free SEO Report Generator.
• Supabase, which stores contact form submissions, marketplace accounts and blog images.
• Our web hosting provider, which serves the website and keeps server logs.
• Email and WhatsApp, when you choose to contact us that way.

Each of these companies has its own privacy policy, which applies to the data it processes.

How we share information

We don't sell your personal information for money. We share it only in these cases:

• With the service providers listed above, so they can run the site for us.
• With a publisher, when you ask us to arrange a guest post placement. We share only the details needed for the article, such as the topic and the link you want placed, not your contact details unless you agree.
• When the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our users or the public.
• If WebNextify is merged or sold, in which case the new owner would be bound by this policy.

How long we keep data

• Enquiries and email conversations: for as long as we're discussing or delivering a project, then up to three years for our business records.
• Marketplace accounts: until you ask us to delete your account.
• Analytics data: for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account, after which it is deleted automatically.

Your rights and choices

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
• correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
• delete your information or your account;
• stop using your information for a particular purpose, or withdraw consent you gave us.

Email contact@webnextify.com from the address linked to your data and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. If you're a California resident, you have the rights to know, delete and correct your personal information and to opt out of its sale or sharing; we don't sell personal information, and you can opt out of advertising cookies using the links in the Advertising section. We won't treat you differently for using any of these rights.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, account passwords are hashed, and access to stored enquiries and account data is limited to the people who need it. No method of storing or sending data over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will tell you if a breach affects you where the law requires it.

International transfers

WebNextify works with clients around the world, and our service providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses.

Children's privacy

This website is meant for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Links to other websites

Our pages link to client websites, publisher websites and other resources. We aren't responsible for how those sites handle your data, so please read their privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page when our practices change, and the date at the top will always show the latest version. If a change is significant, we'll make it clear on the site or contact account holders by email.
